Regional CyberSecurity Forum, Cameroon, 24 - 27 February

The first Regional Forum on Cyber Security in the Central Africa region will take place from 24 to 27 February 2015 in Palais des Congrès, Yaounde, Cameroon hosted by the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications (MINPOSTEL) in partnership with the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), the Commonwealth Telecommunications Organization (CTO) and in collaboration with INTERPOL, CEMAC and ECCAS.

This forum will bring together stakeholders from the Economic Community of Central African States to promote a common understanding of cyber security and strengthen strategies against cyber crime while strengthening the human resource capacity in these countries.

The three-day Programme focused on Cyber Security Policy and Strategy, eGovernment and Critical Infrastructure Protection and Practices to create a culture of Cyber Security and Online Child Protection.
