IST-Africa Workshop, eChallenges e2013, Dublin, 09 October
The IST-Africa Initiative is organising a workshop during eChallenges e2013 to raise awareness of ICT Research capacity in the 18 African Partner countries.
In the context of international cooperation during Horizon 2020, this provides an important opportunity to meet with officials from the Ministries and National Councils Ministries and National Councils responsible for Information Society, ICT and/or STI (Science, Technology & Innovation) Adoption, Policy and Research in Angola, Botswana, Burundi, Cameroon, Egypt, Ethiopia, Kenya, Lesotho, Malawi, Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia, Senegal, South Africa, Swaziland, Tanzania, Tunisia and Uganda. IST-Africa partners can provide assistance to identify relevant national partners for inclusion in projects to be submitted under Horizon 2020.
