Visa Information

Conference delegates should contact the South African Embassy in your country of residence six to eight weeks prior to travelling to determine if it is necessary for you to apply for a visa in advance.

The IST-Africa 2006 Organising Committee can only issue Letters of Invitation for visa purposes to delegates after their conference registration payment has been received. It is necessary for all delegates to register online

Vaccinations

Conference delegates travelling to South Africa for the first time are recommended to have up to date Tetanus, Hepatitis A and Typhoid vaccines. It is a good idea to check with your personal physican or travel health clinic four to six weeks prior to travelling, outlining where in South Africa you intend to visit.

If you intend to travel into the Krueger Valley, it may also be advisable to bring malaria tablets with you.
