IST-Africa Living Labs Session, ICT4Ag, Rwanda, 04 November

IST-Africa is organising a Living Lab Session as part of the Plug and Play Day during ICT4Ag in Kigali, Rwanda on 04 November in Booth 1 from 11:30 - 15:30.

Supported by the European Commission (EC) and African Union Commission (AUC), IST-Africa has taken a leadership position in promoting the adoption of Collaborative Open Innovation and Living Labs Methodologies to support socio-economic development in Africa.

Having sensitized conference participants to Living Labs Methodologies and Living Labs based activities in Africa, this half-day participatory workshop will provide an opportunity for all key stakeholders interested in learning more about the potential of Living Labs for socio-economic development to work together to co-create a framework for future emerging Living Labs focused on eAgriculture in a developing country context.

ICT4Ag is co-hosted by The Technical Centre for Agricultural and Rural Cooperation (CTA) and the Rwandan Ministry of Agriculture and Animal Resources (MINAGRI). The event is focused on exchanging experiences, lessons learnt and ICT solutions addressing the use of ICT in agriculture in ACP countries.
