Anzisha Prize for Young African Entrepreneurs - Deadline 01 April 2013

The Anzisha Prize is focused on acknowledging and supporting young African Entrepreneurs (15 - 22 years of age) who have developed and implemented innovative businesses or solutions that have a positive impact on their communities.

It is an initiative of the African Leadership Adademy's Centre for Entrepreneurial Leadership in partnership with the MasterCard Foundation.

You can also nominate an Entrepreneur to be considered.

Twelve finalists will be selected and they will then have the opportunity to participate in a week long Entrepreneurship Conference at the African Leadership Academy in South Africa

The Grand Prize winners will then share $75,000 in cash prizes, courtesy of the MasterCard Foundation to assist in growing the impact of their projects.

2012 Prize Fellows came from Botswana, Egypt, Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, Rwanda, Uganda, Swaziland and Tanzania.

TANZICT are hosting an Information Session about the Anzisha Prize in the Innovation Space at COSTECH in Dar es Salaam during the week of 12 - 15 February.
